session yesterday turned unexpectedly for me. I went to the Ujian Khas Seni without any clue on what they gonna asked me to do as am applying for Rekacipta (2nd choice). I tak bawak pun any alat melukis since i bukan applied for pend. seni ... So i just attended ngan berbekalkan passion to be a teacher. Little did I know that Rekacipta is categorized under pend. seni .... all the candidates were asked to draw few objects gathered infront of us from our own perspective. Lucky jugak i still hv my pencils from MEdSI Test dalam beg, tapi i hv NO ERASER!! sbb anak i dah kuarkan dari beg ... Gosh! just imagine i draw jek tak padam2 ekekeke ... but somehow i managed to pinjam kat the guy sitted next to me .. thanks to En. Abu Bakar if he reads this forum :-) i owe u bro! nanti, kalau kita ada rezeki jadi classmate, i belanja u muinum ye??


habis jek drawing session, rupanya terus jek interview . I was shocked at first to know that. The session was supposed to be at 2PM ... so i thought adalah lagi masa for me to prepare .. urgh! tupanya dia teruskan ngan interview ... since my 1st choice is Biology, i mmg prepare biology thingy aje in case they asked me to demo ... plus I go through sket2 on general matters on teachings and current issues ...


Tawakkal ajelah, i was the 1st candidate to be interviewed. Like others, soalan2 are basically sama ..after few introduction questions in BM, he switched to english. ther inteviewers are chinese and indian. both lelaki. antara soalan:-

1. how do u relate ur degree and art?
2. how can u prove that u hv skill in art, when looking at ur degree is in IT and u didnt even take art during ur school (SPM), and i dont expect u to say that art is ur hobby.
3. do you know in depth about any art's technique
4. hv u done any artwork in ur life?
5. What do you do when u are suppose to help form 6 student who is very good in art, when u urself dont hv art skill?
6. Do u think anyone can be art teacher?
7. do you think that if the person with very good skill in art can also teach art?

NOTHING ON BIOLOGY!!!!!! I managed to answer all questions. I believe that questions must be answered no matter you hv the correct answer or not. Lastly, the chinese interviewer said:

"Actually we are testing your communication and you are good in it"

hmmm ... and the session ends with a color blind test. resultnyer, Aku tak color blind, Alhamdulillah ..

frankly speaking, if the selection is done purely on skillset for the subject, I can tell that its really hard for me to pass, but if its not, then maybe ada lah harapan .. whatever it is, i hv tried the best and just bertawakkal and do'a semoga ada rezeki for me ... kalau tak ada rezeki, i understand that and i redha if it goes to the more qualified teacher-to-be.

after the i'view i was surrounded by other candidates, yang tanya how it goes .. i kata i lega everything went on smoothly .. i ingatkan i kejap je kat dalam, rupanya dorang kata i lama kat dalam ..well, tak perasan pun lama, maybe sbb dok bercakap all the time kan ...i dont know if the interviewer satisfied with me or my answer ...


... but i give myself thumbs up! kekekekekke! what an experience!!!
